Chattanooga, Tennessee, already consumed with handling the Coronavirus Pandemic suffered another blow, a deadly Tornado blow. The Category EF3 Tornado struck the region and, in its wake, has so far left nine dead and dozens injured.
The footage displayed involving the damage is only but a mere glimpse into what reality is like, on the ground for those suffering from the loss of life and or property.
The tornado touched down just before midnight on Easter Sunday, and what followed was grim.
Chattanooga was not the only location in the South to feel the wrath of Mother Nature today; Alabama and Mississippi also reported deadly tornadoes and horrific weather. Meanwhile, in Georgia, severe flooding was reported.
CPD, the Chattanooga Police Department, in concert with the Hamilton County Sheriffs Department, University of Tennessee Patrol Officers, the Chattanooga Fire Department, and many other agencies are working hard to restore normality for the severely damaged parts of town.
